The Human Nature of The Man in the Mirror

The whole world mourns the death of the King of Pop. It was June 25, 2009 when news feeds the world over headlined that Michael Jackson had succumbed to death. He was indeed, one of the greatest artists of his generation, and of all time at that. He will always be remembered for his signature dance moves and his phenomenal music. He taught us how to "beat it." And whenever he does, his audiences are usually caught in awe. His music has inspired many people from different walks of life. Through his genius, he was able to bridge the cultural gap. He proved to the world that it really doesn't matter whether one is "black or white." After the tears have gone dry, when it all sets in that only his legacy remains, may all of us who claim at least one of his songs as the theme song of our lives, continue to "heal the world" as a tribute to the man who has "gone too soon."
